MIDTERM REVIEW OF THE VIENNA PROGRAMME OF ACTION FOR LLDCs FOR DECADE 2014-2024
The comprehensive high-level midterm review on the implementation of the Vienna Programme of Action for Landlocked Developing Countries for the Decade 2014–2024, will be held in the second half of 2019. The midterm review will analyze the status of implementation of the Vienna Programme and will be a forum to share best practices and lessons learnt, identify remaining obstacles and constraints encountered and the actions needed to accelerate the implementation of the Programme.
The Office of the High Representative for Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States shall coordinate the preparatory process. All relevant United Nations system organizations, including UNCTAD, UNDP, the regional commissions and other relevant organizations, within their respective mandates and within existing resources, shall be invited to provide support to the review process.

The high-level midterm review shall adopt an inter-governmentally negotiated and agreed outcome in the form of a political declaration.
