The United Nations Office of the High Representative for Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (OHRLLS) is collaborating with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the African Union Commission in organising an Expert Group Meeting on the draft intergovernmental agreement for the Trans African Highway (TAH) to be held 19 and 20 September 2011 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The aim of the meeting is to discuss proposals on minimum norms and standards of the TAH, to elaborate an intergovernmental agreement on the TAH and propose recommendations for adoption by the Conference of African Ministers in charge of Transport that will be held 21 to 25 November 2011.
